Guided by integrity, accountability, and technical excellence, the company is committed to long-term partnerships and practical, cost-effective solutions.Role DescriptionThis full-time, on-site G1 Gas Tech with Instrumentation experience role is based in Nanticoke, ON. The position involves installing, maintaining, and servicing gas-fired equipment and related instrumentation in industrial and commercial settings. Day-to-day tasks include performing calibrations, inspections, and preventive maintenance on instrumentation and control systems, as well as diagnosing and repairing gas system issues to ensure safe and efficient operation. The role requires interpreting technical drawings and schematics, completing accurate documentation, and collaborating with other trades and project teams to support commissioning and system upgrades. The G1 Gas Tech will also follow all safety procedures,
regulatory codes, and company standards while working independently and in team environments.QualificationsMust have Ontario TSSA G1 Gas LicenseStrong instrumentation skills, including Instrumentation and Calibration, relevant to industrial gas and control systems.Experience in Process Control, with the ability to work with control loops and system integration.Proficiency in Troubleshooting, including diagnosing faults in gas-fired equipment and instrumentation.Capability in Preventive Maintenance, focusing on regular inspections and servicing to ensure reliable operation.Valid G1 Gas Technician license in Ontario and thorough knowledge of applicable gas codes and safety regulations.Experience in industrial or commercial environments, preferably within integrated electrical and mechanical systems.Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.Strong communication skills, reliability, and ability to work safely in a team and independently.Valid driver’s license and willingness to work on-site and at client facilities as required.This position is through the Building Trade Unions and will pay a minimum of $53.50 per hour plus pension and benefits. The candidate will start on day shift for 4-8 weeks on a regular 40hr schedule then will be moved to continental shift 2-2-3 alternating days and nights. Once on the continental shift overtime rates will apply which works out to $170K plus per year#J-18808-Ljbffr
