Reporting to the Category Manager, Transportation, this role focuses on evaluating the North American flatbed transportation network to identify efficiencies that drive cost savings and operational excellence. The Sourcing Specialist, Flatbed Transportation will conduct deep critical analysis of large, varied data sets and regularly collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate agreements and support sourcing activities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Flatbed RFP/RFQ processes, including contracting, implementation, and complianceResearch, evaluate, and implement process optimization initiativesAdminister new carrier vettingManage monthly spend and savings reportingReduce non core freight vendors through infraction identification and root‐cause analysisAddress new logistics requirements as they ariseImplement routing changes in collaboration with operational teamsConduct carrier scorecardingSupport QBRs with qualitative and quantitative insightsManage carrier performance (on-time shipping, claims, AR)
