About The Job

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, Professional Practice Leader or other designated personnel, the Medical Laboratory Technologist works in a team‑based environment as part of a general supervision. The role involves performing a variety of routine and/or complex tests utilizing manual procedures and automated instruments within the laboratory.



Responsibilities also include greeting patients, collecting and receiving specimens, entering data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and related computer systems, validating and reporting test results, maintaining instruments, and preparing solutions and control agents in accordance with established procedures and safety standards. The technologist participates in departmental training programs across all sections of the lab, including microbiology, histology and cytology, to learn new or existing tests and procedures.

Position Details

This is a permanent full‑time (1.0) position. Work shifts are scheduled on rotating days, evenings and nights.
