This role is responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory control, and internal material flow to ensure production runs efficiently and accurately.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Materials ControlCount, weigh, and verify materials for accuracyMaintain accurate inventory records and bin locationsPerform cycle counts and support inventory auditsAssist in resolving discrepancies (shortages, overages, damaged goods)Support Kanban and replenishment systemsProduction & Internal Logistics SupportPrepare and deliver parts kits to the production floorManage internal material requests and ensure timely deliverySafely move materials to designated storage or production areasMaintain alignment with production schedules to support workflowSystems & DocumentationProcess material transactions in ERP systems (e.G.,
Microsoft Dynamics NAV)Maintain accurate and timely records of all material movementsEnsure traceability and documentation complianceSafety & EquipmentOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment safelyMaintain required certifications (forklift; crane/rigging considered an asset)Follow all PPE and workplace safety protocolsReport hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediatelyContribute to 5S and lean initiatives within the warehouseIdentify opportunities to improve material flow and organizationMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environmentSupport team members and collaborate across departmentsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum 2-4 years of experience in a warehouse or industrial shipping/receiving role preferredExperience in manufacturing or production environments is an assetAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyComfortable with standing, walking, and manual handling throughout the shiftPreferred (but not required):Forklift certification required (or willingness to obtain)Overhead crane/rigging certification is an assetWhat We OfferCompetitive Pay: $24.50 - 29.00, b ased on experienceBenefits: Comprehensive benefits package, paid holidays and paid time offGrowth Opportunities: Continuing education and growth into specialized roles is encouraged.Team Environment: Work in a collaborative, continuous improvement-focused production shopStability: Full-time, permanent position with consistent hoursHours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMEnvironment: Industrial manufacturing environment, shop floor and office.#J-18808-Ljbffr
