Position Overview

Part‑time Senior Therapy Radiographer at our state‑of‑the‑art cancer care centre in Windsor.

Key Responsibilities

- Support all aspects of the patient pathway receiving external beam radiotherapy.
- Assist the Lead Therapy Radiographer/Centre Leader with team leadership.
- Maintain operational objectives and standards across various areas of the treatment centre.
- Collaborate closely with the clinical team (Lead Radiographer, Lead Physicist, Senior Dosimetrist, Radiographers, Nurses, Administration staff) throughout the radiotherapy process.

Qualifications and Experience

- Post‑qualification experience and understanding of UK radiotherapy.
- Experience across all aspects of radiotherapy: quality assurance, pre‑treatment, and treatment.
- Evidence of effective staff liaison and co‑operative working.
- Empathetic, holistic patient‑care approach.
- Previous experience in the private health sector (advantageous).
- Experience resolving complaints satisfactorily.
- Proactive evolution of radiotherapy techniques.
- Range of clinical radiotherapy skills.




- Effective organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong relationship‑building skills.
- Independent decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
- Flexibility to achieve business objectives.
- Ability to train and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications and Knowledge

- DCR (T) or BSc (Hons) in Radiotherapy (or equivalent).
- HCPC registration.
- Evidence of continuing career development.
- Some knowledge of report writing.
