309A Electrician – Residential Service & EV Installations

Electrilogix Electrical Services is looking for an experienced 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician to join our growing team on a part-time/as-needed basis, with an expected 20–40 hours per week.

As our residential and commercial service division becomes more established, the intention is for this position to transition into consistent full-time hours.

The position is primarily focused on residential electrical service, EV charger installations, service changes, panel upgrades and troubleshooting. We’re looking for someone who can work independently, takes pride in clean workmanship, and communicates professionally with customers.

Responsibilities

- Residential electrical service and installations
- Level 2 EV charger installations and related equipment
- Electrical service changes and upgrades
- Panel replacements and upgrades
- Troubleshooting and electrical repairs
- Light commercial electrical work
- Independently assess, plan and complete service jobs
- Assist with job assessments, estimating, quotations and material takeoffs
- Complete work in accordance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code

Qualifications
- Valid Ontario 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician Certificate of Qualification
- Solid residential installation and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with service changes and panel upgrades
- Good knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code
- Valid driver’s licence




- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
- Professional customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Bonus Experience Additional experience in the following would be a strong asset:
- Commercial electrical installations
- Industrial electrical work
- Machine wiring and industrial automation
- Control panel wiring
- Motors, VFDs, sensors and control systems
- Reading electrical and automation schematics

Our ideal candidate is a strong residential electrician who can take the lead on service and EV work while also having the ability or interest to assist with our commercial and industrial automation projects.
