Current Openings:
1. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT The Administrative Assistant is the first point of contact for our members and guests. You’ll play a key role in shaping the energy and professionalism of our gym environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet members and visitors with warmth and professionalism to foster a welcoming environment.
- Handle inquiries via phone, email, and in person with efficiency and clarity.
- Monitor member check-ins and manage walk-in traffic using our gym management software (RGP).
- Process retail, concession, and membership sales through the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain and reconcile daily cash and transaction records accurately.
- Conduct outbound calls to generate leads, convert inquiries, and boost membership sales.
- Keep the front desk area organized, clean, and presentable.
- Support general administrative tasks as needed by the management team.
- Must be comfortable using Google Suite, Canva, Slack, and other applications.
- Occasional coaching for camps, classes, and groups when needed.
- Support the Assistant Manager as needed.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Comfortable learning and using point-of-sale and gym management systems.
- Previous experience with cash handling and customer service preferred.
- Organized, reliable, and able to multitask in a busy workplace.
- Has climbing experience (a bonus, but not required - we can train you!).
- Looking for a long-term commitment and someone interested in growing with the organization.
- First Aid/CPR, climbing certifications, or coaching experience are assets.
- Must have flexible availability, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
- Must live in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
2. CAMP COACH As a Camp Coach, you’ll play a key role in delivering fun, safe, and engaging experiences for kids attending our climbing camps. You'll lead activities, teach climbing skills, and support the overall camp experience, all while helping foster a love of climbing in young adventurers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and assist with climbing activities, games, and classes.
- Belay and supervise young climbers during class, birthdays and camp sessions.
- Ensure a clean, safe,
and welcoming environment for all.
- Provide friendly, helpful customer service to parents and participants.
- Support fellow staff and contribute to a fun team culture.
Qualifications
- Loves working with kids and has a positive, energetic attitude.
- Thrives in fast-paced, team-focused environments.
- Cares deeply about safety, fun, and community.
- Has climbing experience (a bonus, but not required - we can train you!).
