Position Details

Currently seeking Journeyperson & Apprentice Carpenter's for work in Edmonton, AB and surrounding areas

What You Will Be Working On

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirement
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and/or other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and or roof systems
- Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware
- Working with all types of Concrete Formwork

What We Are Looking For





- Valid Journeyperson/Apprentice certificate in the trade of Carpentry
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- Fall Protection
- MEWP
- Formwork Experience
- Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
- The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
- Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
