Overview

As the Manager, Strategy you will support the enablement of our long‑term strategic plan by leading cross‑functional project management and strategy development. You will drive key projects forward—defining timelines, developing and managing the project plan, delivering key work, and working with the team to advance progress and unblock challenges. You thrive in an agile environment, balancing multiple projects, connecting dots, foreseeing barriers and opportunities, simplifying complex scenarios, and providing solutions and recommendations to address anticipated needs. This role is based in our North Vancouver office and is expected to be performed on‑location. Meet Your Future Team

The Strategy team, within the Brand Marketing function, partners with executive leadership on development, prioritization, and oversight of our company strategies. We translate complex, unstructured problems into transparent executive‑level narratives and recommendations, leading long‑range strategic planning and quarterly business reviews to tie strategy to our annual operating budget. Core Activities

Structuring strategic problems and developing frameworks that help cross‑functional stakeholders identify opportunities and solve complex challenges Building data‑informed strategies and connecting insights to strategic direction, fostering a culture of insights throughout Arc’teryx Developing comprehensive stakeholder engagement plans to ensure the right people are in the right conversations Creating compelling communication materials—including meeting content, presentations, and strategic updates—to align and inform stakeholders at all levels Connecting cross‑functional dots to ensure strategy is understood and executed across the organization Collaborating cross‑functionally to drive the annual business planning process, weaving long‑term strategies into actionable annual plans Leading the development and management of tools, processes, and governance to execute against strategic and business plans Establishing project foundations and end‑to‑end project plans, including governance, ways of working, key stakeholders, meeting cadence, deliverables,



and timelines Driving and delivering project work, including progress reporting to senior leaders Identifying risks proactively, developing mitigation solutions, and escalating as needed Assessing change management requirements to ensure successful project rollout and implementation Future Projects

Leading end‑to‑end business case development for new product, brand, and business opportunities, structuring complex problems and building data‑informed recommendations Owning the full lifecycle of high‑visibility, high‑impact projects—establishing governance, managing plans, driving cross‑functional progress, and mitigating risks for successful delivery Crafting compelling executive‑level narratives and presentations for board meetings, investor days, and senior leadership forums, translating complex, unstructured information into clear, actionable storylines Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, strategy, or a related field 5+ years of professional experience in strategic planning, management consulting, project management, consumer products, and/or retail 3+ years of project management experience and proficiency with project‑management software Demonstrated track record as an outstanding problem solver and strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights Strong understanding of retail and consumer‑facing businesses Proven record of successfully directing cross‑functional projects Capability to bring structure to ambiguous environments and synthesize information into effective strategies and innovative insights High emotional intelligence, influencing skills, and communication skills to collaborate with senior executive stakeholders Excellent verbal and written communication skills,



including building strategic narratives and impactful executive‑level presentations Strong leadership, facilitation, and analytical skills Entrepreneurial spirit, self‑starter, and results‑driven orientation Flexibility and resilience to change and ambiguity Commitment to ethical decision‑making and doing what is right Compensation

Salary range: CAD$108,000 – CAD$135,000. Individual pay is determined by your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.
