Description

Ancron Medical Centre is seeking a locum physician to provide coverage for a portion of a shared family practice in beautiful Nelson, BC. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well‑established, collegial clinic in the heart of one of British Columbia’s most vibrant mountain communities.

Our clinic operates under the Longitudinal Family Physician (LFP) Payment Model, including a 12% Rural B top‑up, offering competitive compensation. A favorable overhead arrangement is available (20/80 split on billings, negotiable). The patient population includes a balanced mix of elderly patients and young families.

We offer flexible scheduling tailored to your interests and availability, with opportunities ranging from 2–5 clinic days per week, short‑ or long‑term locums, and the option to incorporate hospital‑based medicine. Both in‑office and telehealth appointments are available.

Located right on Nelson’s iconic Baker Street, Ancron Medical Centre is steps away from local cafés, shops,



and amenities — including the beloved Oso Negro Café just around the corner. You’ll be supported by an experienced administrative team, a strong allied health network through the Primary Care Network (PCN), and collegial physician partners both within the clinic and throughout the medical community.
