We are looking for a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our Complex Continuing Care team. You will be accountable for daily nursing duties, supervision of staff like PSWs, and ensuring quality patient care. This position requires flexibility as you will work 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, including weekends and evenings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care for less-complex patients
• Develop and modify plans of care collaboratively
• Supervise and direct unregulated care providers
• Consult with RNs to meet the needs of complex clients
• Act as a preceptor for students and novice nurses
Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum one year experience in a hospital setting
• Current CPR certification
• Preferred specialization in Gentle Persuasive Approach
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
