About the Role

Bosley’s by Pet Valu is looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Animal Care Expert to join our Langley team.

Our Animal Care Experts help pet parents find the right food, treats, supplies and solutions for their pets. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and animals, takes pride in providing excellent service, and is interested in developing solid knowledge of pet nutrition and pet-care products.

Previous pet-store experience is an asset, but we are also interested in candidates with strong retail or customer-service experience who are enthusiastic about learning.

What You’ll Do

- Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service
- Help pet parents select appropriate food, treats, toys, accessories and other pet-care products
- Develop knowledge of pet nutrition, product ingredients and key product categories
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately
- Receive deliveries, unpack merchandise and replenish the sales floor
- Keep shelves stocked, faced and well organized
- Assist with merchandising, promotions, price changes and seasonal displays
- Monitor product dates and help maintain accurate inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe store environment




- Work with the team to complete daily store tasks efficiently
- Safely lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lb

- Flexible availability, including weekends
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lb

Preferred Experience
- Previous retail or customer-service experience
- Previous pet-store or pet-industry experience
- Knowledge of pet food, nutrition or pet-care products
- Experience with Bosley’s, Pet Valu, Tisol or another specialty retailer
