- Create outlinedesigns - Methodically carry out experiments, analyze data, and interpret results - Theoretical designs must be tested and evaluated.
- Identify, develop, and implement effective solutions to emerging problems.
- Examine the overall performance, dependability, and safety of the final product.
- Change and modify the design to meet requirements and eliminate flaws.
- Estimate budget and project scope.
- Solicit feedback from operators.
- Produce product documentation and reports.
- Participate in lifelong learning and the development of recent theories or methods.

Requirements - Product lifecycle management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA), and computational fluid dynamics experience (CFD) - Extensive knowledge of computer-aided engineering (CAE) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) - Knowledge of 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ProE, or other) - Adequate understanding of engineering analysis tools (ANSYS, ProMechanica, or similar)



- Understanding of mathematical computing and analysis tools (Matlab, Excel, LabView, etc.) - Solid understanding of fundamental concepts such as mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, etc.

- Analytical and creative abilities - Technical knowledge must be communicated clearly and understandably.
