Applicants would be expected to provide unique services including but not limited to tree climbing (if able but not required), removals and pruning, ornamental tree pruning, hedge trimming, garden maintenance, tree/perennial planting, garden establishment and minimal grass cutting. As we are a small business and are family owned and operated we hold quality of work to a high and often luxury level for our customers, so attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the properties we work on is a necessity for our employees. Applicants need to have thorough knowledge of safety standards that go above and beyond or be willing to learn.

We would be happy to have an apprentice arborist as we are certified by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and would be able to vouch for an apprentice's hours if that is something of interest.

Your responsibilities would include but are not limited to :

- Groundsman work during tree climbing
- Assisting in any of the daily jobs that were listed above
- Taking the lead when necessary on jobs either independently or with other employees




- Working hard to maintain a safe, tidy and healthy work setting
- Driving a pick up work truck, towing a chipper or landscape trailer when necessary
- Operating chainsaws and various pruning and gardening tools
- Raking, lifting, using wood chipper, leaf blowing, hedge trimming from ladders, weed whacking when necessary

- An interest, education or experience in arborist and/or softscape work
- Eagerness to take on more responsibilities
- An interest in continuing to learn the various skills to become a crew leader

Qualifications
- Valid G drivers license

- Clean criminal record

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
