Locum Family Physician – University Village Medical Clinic

University Village Medical Clinic, located at 228‑Allison Rd, Vancouver, Canada, is seeking a Family Physician to join a hybrid walk‑in and family practice. The clinic operates in two locations within the UBC area and serves a diverse patient population that includes UBC students, young families, seniors, and others.

Work involves a full schedule of both virtual and in‑person appointments, supported by a team of multilingual MOAs (Mandarin, Spanish and French). Physicians use the Myle EMR system. Daily remuneration varies with patient volume, typically around $2000 per day.

Schedule

- Medium term assignment (2‑8 weeks), dates May 1 2026 – Apr 30 2027
- Clinic hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Flexible scheduling:



full‑time or part‑time; days and shifts negotiable
- No after‑hours or on‑call duties for locums

Qualifications

- Fully and provisionally licensed Family Physician in Canada
- Experience with Myle EMR system (asset)
- Multilingual skills (Mandarin, Spanish, French) are an asset

Compensation and Advantages

Daily remuneration ranges based on patient volume, typically ≈$2000 per day. Overhead split is 75%.
