Job Summary
We’re on the lookout for an energetic and approachable Assistant FOH (Front of House) Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll help oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring our guests receive top-notch service while supporting our front-of-house staff. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, experienced in food service, and ready to lead with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising front-of-house staff, including servers and hosts, to ensure smooth service flow.
- Support food preparation and serving processes, maintaining high standards of food handling and safety.
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Volante to handle orders and cash transactions accurately.
- Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Help with interviewing and onboarding new team members to build a strong, motivated team.
- Oversee restaurant cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health regulations.
- Support restaurant management in daily operations, including cash handling and inventory checks.
Experience
- Previous supervising or team management experience in a food service or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Solid background in food preparation, cooking, serving, and restaurant management.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros or similar platforms is a plus.
- Experience with food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
- Knowledge of breakfast service experience is advantageous.
- Strong leadership skills combined with excellent customer service abilities.
- Hospitality or hotel experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
