Position Overview:
The AssistantSite Supervisor (full-time, permanent), reporting to Construction Manager will be responsible for but not limited to assisting and support the Site Supervisor with daily site operations, scheduling, managing trades and subcontractors and ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget. The ideal individual will demonstrate effective communication skills, effective problem solving and working collaboratively to ensure timely delivery of projects without compromising quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibi lities:
- Ensure ART Homes standards of quality craftsmanship and safety are always met
- Assist in supervising day-to-day on-site activities at designated project sites
- Help coordinate and schedule and manage subcontractors, trades, and suppliers
- Read, interpret and reference blueprints, drawings, and specifications to support work verification
- Track and report on project timelines, budgets, and material usage to Site Supervisor
- Help enforce compliance with all safety regulations and building codes on-site
- Assist with site quality control checks and provide progress reports to management
- Act as a secondary point of contact for clients during the construction phase and escalate as needed to the Site Supervisor
- Flag on-site issues early and adapt to changing project demands
- Assist with material counts for order and carefully track materials, tools, and equipment as needed
- Ensure clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Perform hands on site work regularly to support on-site productivity
Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in residential construction or renovation experience, is required
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License, is required
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations and quality residential best practices
- Proficient in using smartphones/tablets to document work and communication and navigate internal softwares
- Excellent and effective communication and customer service skills
- Good judgement, follow-through and personal accountability
- Ability to work independently with minimum direction
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Able and willing to provide an acceptable drivers abstract
