BIL Technology Co., Ltd. operates DJI Authorized Experience Stores in Canada.

Our West Edmonton Mall location will be Canada's first DJI Authorized Experience Store—a flagship destination where customers can experience DJI's industry-leading drones, camera stabilization systems, and imaging technology firsthand.

We're looking for passionate retail leaders who take pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences and are excited to help launch Canada's first DJI flagship experience store.

Position Summary The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in leading daily retail operations, driving sales performance, delivering an outstanding customer experience, and supervising the Sales Representative team.

This role also serves as the Manager-on-Duty and assumes full store leadership responsibilities in the Store Manager's absence.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Store Manager in achieving store sales goals and key performance metrics (conversion rate, average transaction value, units per transaction).
- Supervise, coach, schedule, and develop a team of 5–6 Sales Representatives.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training recent team members.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance check-ins.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience and resolve escalated customer concerns.
- Act as Manager-on-Duty and oversee daily store operations when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable provincial employment standards.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and DJI product demonstration areas.
- Support inventory management, cycle counts, stock replenishment, and loss prevention.
- Assist customers with warranty inquiries, repair intake, and after-sales support.
- Support new store openings, product launches, and company-wide promotional campaigns.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.

Qualifications





- 1–2+ years of retail leadership or supervisory experience (consumer electronics, technology, premium retail, or specialty retail preferred).
- Proven ability to achieve or contribute to sales targets.
- Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and team-building skills.
- Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Experience using POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Excel.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Able to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must successfully pass a background check where permitted by law.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical retail duties including standing, walking, bending, reaching, stocking merchandise, and moving display equipment throughout a shift.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with drones, cameras, gimbals, or consumer electronics.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Existing knowledge of DJI products is considered an asset.
- Bilingual (English/French or English/Mandarin) is an asset.
