We are seeking a precision-focused A1 Audio Engineer specializing in corporate, conference, and live spoken-word environments to lead our front-of-house sound systems and guarantee flawless signal delivery for high-stakes corporate events.

Role Summary

As a Lead Audio Engineer (A1), you will be the technical authority for all spoken-word clarity, multi-microphone management, broadcast feeds, and spatial sound coverage across general sessions, keynote presentations, and live breakout environments. You will oversee system design deployment, real-time mixing, wireless spectrum management, and line-level distribution, ensuring crystal-clear speech intelligibility and zero-downtime performance.

This position specifically requires a Corporate A1 Lead Audio Engineer with a minimum of two (2) years of proven live corporate event, general session, and conference experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Front-of-House Mixing & Gain Structure: Lead live mixing console operations for high-profile executive keynotes, panel discussions, and corporate general sessions. Maintain pristine gain structure, automatic gain sharing, dynamic processing, and adaptive EQ to deliver ultra-high speech intelligibility without feedback or distortion.
- RF & Wireless Spectrum Architecture: Manage complex multi-channel wireless microphone deployment. Perform live RF coordination, frequency coordination scans, intermodulation calculations, and dynamic antenna placement to guarantee drop-free transmission across lavalier,



handheld, and headset systems.
- System Tuning & Acoustic Alignment: Tune and align FOH array systems, delay fills, stage monitors, and distributed audio zones using SMAART/acoustic analyzer tools. Calibrate delay times, phase alignment, and system crossover filters to ensure balanced sound distribution across large audience footprints.
- Broadcast, Recording & Feed Routing: Route independent, matrixed audio feeds to remote live-streams, press feeds, video record decks, overflow rooms, and translation/interpretation systems with dedicated level control and isolated processing.
- Stage Communication & Intercom Matrix: Program, configure, and maintain multi-channel digital partyline and wireless intercom matrix systems (e.g., Riedel, Clear-Com, RTS) to support real-time execution across FOH, stage managers, producers, and video directors.
- Preventive Maintenance & System QA: Oversee signal chain integrity from source to transducer. Conduct pre-show line checks, red-team failovers, equipment maintenance, and maintain pristine organization across tech booths, FOH riser setups, and rack systems.
- Technical Documentation & Client Coordination: Interface directly with technical directors, show callers, and corporate client teams to execute show cues, timing changes, and emergency protocol adjustments. Maintain updated audio patching diagrams, RF deployment logs, and inventory tracking.

What We Are Looking For

- Corporate Live Sound Expertise: Proven track record operating as a FOH A1 for large-scale corporate conferences,



general sessions, or live broadcast events (non-studio/non-music setting focus).
- Advanced Console & DSP Command: Deep operational knowledge of digital mixing consoles (Yamaha CL/QL/RIVAGE, DiGiCo, Allen & Heath) and commercial DSP platforms (Q-SYS, Biamp, BSS, Lake).
- RF Management Mastery: Expert familiarity with RF coordination software (Shure Wireless Workbench, Sennheiser WSM) and physical antenna distribution setups.
- Operational Discipline: High composure under real-time pressure, meticulous attention to cable management, zero-latency troubleshooting skills, and absolute professionalism when interacting with C-suite executives and client leads.
- Team Leadership: Strong capability to direct A2 patch crews and stage technicians during rapid room turnarounds and complex load-ins/load-outs.
