We are seeking an experienced, licensed, and certified Automotive Mechanic / Automotive Service Technician with strong knowledge of modern vehicle systems and the latest automotive technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining a wide range of modern passenger vehicles and light-duty vehicles. Candidates must be comfortable working with advanced electronic systems, computerized diagnostics, hybrid and electric vehicle technology, advanced driver-assistance systems, and other current automotive technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and computerized vehicle problems using up-to-date diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-approved procedures.
- Perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and component replacements on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.
- Service and repair engines, transmissions, steering systems, suspension systems, brakes, HVAC systems, exhaust systems, and vehicle electrical systems.
- Diagnose faults using OEM and aftermarket scan tools, diagnostic software, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other electronic testing equipment.
- Work with modern vehicle communication and control systems, including CAN bus networks, electronic control modules, sensors, actuators, and computerized vehicle systems.
- Diagnose and service hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and electric vehicles where properly trained and certified.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles equipped with turbocharged engines, direct fuel injection, start-stop systems, electronic parking brakes, and other modern technologies.
- Diagnose and service Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), including cameras, radar, parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, lane-assistance systems, and related equipment.
- Perform programming, initialization, relearning, calibration, and system resets when required.




- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and accurately identify safety concerns, required repairs, and preventative maintenance needs.
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and quality control.
- Verify completed repairs through road testing, diagnostic testing, and final inspections.
- Maintain accurate repair orders, inspection reports, diagnostic findings, parts information, and service documentation.
- Clearly communicate technical findings and recommended repairs to service advisors, management, and other technicians.
- Follow manufacturer specifications, technical service bulletins, workplace safety procedures, and applicable automotive industry standards.
- Maintain tools, diagnostic equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and professional condition.
- Participate in ongoing technical training to remain current with new vehicle technology, diagnostic procedures, and repair methods.

Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to candidates with additional training or certifications in areas such as:
- Hybrid and Electric Vehicle (EV) systems
- High-voltage vehicle safety
- Advanced electrical diagnostics
- ADAS diagnosis and calibration
- OEM manufacturer training
- Engine performance and drivability
- Transmission diagnosis and repair
- Automotive HVAC systems
- Advanced scan-tool diagnostics
- Vehicle network and module communication systems

Technical Skills The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with:
- OEM and professional aftermarket diagnostic scanners
- Vehicle programming and diagnostic software

- Battery, charging, and starting system testers
- TPMS diagnostic equipment
- ADAS diagnostic and calibration equipment
- Electronic service information and wiring diagrams

- Computerized alignment and wheel-service equipment

Pay: $22.68-$44.22 per hour
