Join a growing dealership as an Automotive Journeyman Technician / Team Lead. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys mentoring apprentices while continuing to earn strong flat-rate hours.

What You’ll Do

- Lead and mentor up to3 Apprentice Technicians.

- Answer technical questions and provide hands-on coaching.

- Help apprentices become more productive and efficient.

- Work closely with the Service Manager to ensure work is completed on time.

- Produce your own flat-rate hours while leading the team.

- Assist with customer concerns when required.

- Perform road tests to verify repairs.

- Complete periodic quality control inspections.

- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work setting.

Your Skill Set

- Red Seal Journeyman Automotive Service Technician (or equivalent).

- Brand training is considered a strong asset.

- Strong diagnostic and repair skills.





- Previous leadership or mentoring experience is an asset.

- Positive attitude with excellent communication skills.

- Valid driver's license.

Compensation

Brand-Trained Technicians

- $60.00 per flat-rate hour

- Up to $3.00 per hour production bonus

Apprentice Production Bonus

Earn additional income based on the hours produced by the apprentices you supervise:

- 1st Year Apprentice:$8.00 per hour produced

- 2nd Year Apprentice:$6.00 per hour produced

- 3rd Year Apprentice:$4.00 per hour produced

- 4th Year Apprentice:$2.00 per hour produced

The more productive your team becomes, the more you earn.

Housing Assistance

- Shared staff accommodation available.

- Private bedroom in a two-bedroom condo.

- Shared kitchen and bathroom.

- Approximate rent:$600/month.

- $500/month living allowancemay be available for the right candidate.
