Automotive Service Technician 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Speedy Auto Service -Waterloo, ON

Full-time, Position

Speedy Auto Service Waterloo has an immediate opening for an Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our team.

If you have a passion for cars, and you are looking for a long term position to grow with a well established company.

Suitable candidate must have a valid drivers license.

This is also a hands-on position. You must like working with customers, staff and working on cars. It is a fast-paced environment.

- Understand all aspects of the Service Operation
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned
- Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required
- Assist Technicians, as required
- Maintain High level of Customer Service and Satisfaction
- Assist with Technical issues as needed
- Maintain a safe and productive working environment
- Perform Tire Rotations, mount and balance and repair of tires.
- Drain and fill, flush fluids using specified fluid grades upon request.




- Clean or replace batteries upon request.
- Replace air, cabin air and fuel filters upon request.
- Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
- Maintain a clean and protected upper and lower bay area before, during and after vehicle servicing.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Some prior experience in an automotive environment is required
- Ability to communicate technical information in a simple manner
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to exceed customer expectations
- Valid G License with a clean driving record
- Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Willing to learn more as a part of further personal development

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
