Duties

- Diagnose issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and hands-on inspection to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and industrial machinery to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment safety and longevity.
- Follow detailed repair procedures and schematics to accurately troubleshoot complex systems.
- Operate heavy machinery safely when required for testing or repair purposes.




- Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle or piece of equipment.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic with dealership experience preferred.
- Robust mechanical knowledge across various systems including electrical, hydraulic, and engine components.
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or industrial machinery.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading.
- Ability to lift heavy components safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Valid certification or license in automotive repair or related fields is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems or farm machinery maintenance is a plus.
