Acorn Perinatal Society is recruiting for the In‑House Registered Midwife (IHRM 2.0) program at Victoria General Hospital in Victoria, BC.
This is a hospital‑based role supporting community midwives with:
- triage & inpatient assessments
- induction starts
- labour support/labour sitting
- antenatal assessments & NSTs
- cesarean assist
- patient flow support on L&D;
The role is ideal for experienced midwives who enjoy high‑acuity clinical work, teamwork, and hospital‑based practice without full community call responsibilities.
We’re recruiting for:
- ongoing positions
- casual shifts
- short‑term locum placements
Projected compensation by summer 2026 is estimated at ~$75–95/hr with target compensation around ~$100/hr.
