Archi Element is a specialty café located in Toronto focused on matcha, tea, and handmade ceramics sourced from Asia. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us and contribute to the experience we’re building.

Job Overview

We’re looking for a part-time team member (2-3 days per week) to support front-of-house operations, including drink preparation, customer service, and daily shop maintenance.

Responsibilities

- Prepare matcha, tea, and espresso-based drinks to a high standard
- Maintain precision with recipes, measurements, and presentation
- Provide friendly and welcoming customer service
- Educate customers on menu items and ceramics
- Operate POS system and handle transactions
- Assist with daily prep work (e.g., syrups, juices, tea brewing, milk infusions)
- Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness throughout shifts
- Perform end-of-day cleaning (sweeping, mopping, garbage removal)
- Support overall shop operations as needed

Skills

- Previous barista experience preferred
- Experience with espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art preferred




- Familiarity with matcha whisking and tea brewing is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
- Interest in tea and/or ceramics is highly valued
- Reliable and able to work weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Able to handle a fast-paced, hands-on work environment
