Space Social is a neighbourhood café and TCG community space in Toronto, built from a passion project that brings specialty coffee and trading cards together under one roof.

We're not just serving coffee—we're creating a place where people slow down, chat with strangers, play a few games, open packs, and feel like regulars. Whether someone walks in for a latte or their next favourite Pokémon card, we want them to leave feeling like they belong.

We're looking for an experienced barista who genuinely enjoys people as much as they enjoy coffee.

What You'll Be Doing

- Craft consistently great espresso-based drinks, matcha, tea, and seasonal specials
- Create beautiful latte art and take pride in every drink that leaves the bar
- Welcome guests with warmth and help create a relaxed, community-focused atmosphere
- Chat with customers, remember familiar faces, and make everyone feel at home
- Handle orders and payments through our POS system
- Prepare light food items and keep the café clean, organized, and inviting throughout the day
- Restock supplies and help keep daily operations running smoothly
- Work independently, make thoughtful decisions, and stay calm when things get busy

We're Looking For Someone Who...





- Has previous specialty coffee experience and is comfortable working independently
- Can dial in espresso, steam milk confidently, and pour clean latte art
- Enjoys talking with people and naturally creates a welcoming environment
- Is proactive and notices what needs to be done without being asked
- Can comfortably multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Takes pride in cleanliness, organization, and food safety
- Is reliable, flexible, and enjoys being part of a small, growing business
- An interest in Pokémon, TCGs, or gaming is a bonus—but definitely not required!
