Join us at Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre as a full time Occupational Therapist focused on enhancing client independence and wellbeing. This role prioritizes assessment, treatment planning, and supportive interventions.
The position involves providing direct client care in rehabilitation and recovery units, focusing on adults with complex conditions such as those on dialysis and requiring respiratory support. You will assess needs, plan discharges, and deliver personalized interventions to elevate residents' quality of life. Additionally, you’ll supervise support staff and students to ensure high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct focused assessments for clients in rehabilitation
• Plan treatment strategies and discharge plans




• Provide clinical supervision to support staff and students
• Implement interventions for functional independence
• Assist adults with complex health needs and support systems
Requirements:
• Master’s or Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Registration with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
• Eligible for CAOT membership
• Experience in clinical or continuing care settings is an asset
• New grads are encouraged to apply
