We are working with a well-established real estate and seniors housing owner-operator in Toronto to place a Bookkeeper on a part-time contract basis. The organization develops, operates, and manages a portfolio of residential and seniors housing assets and is currently navigating a transition period that has created a need for experienced bookkeeping support at the head office level.
This is a part-time engagement, three days per week, expected to run six months. The role is tied to a specific phase of the business, and the right candidate will be comfortable with a finite contract and the pace of a small, lean accounting team.
Day-to-day work is hands-on and transactional. The person stepping into this role will manage accounts payable and receivable, post journal entries, handle bank reconciliations, support vendor relations, and keep the books current across two accounting platforms. The environment is detail-oriented and requires someone who can work independently without close supervision.
