What The Day Will Look Like
- Negotiate with underwriters to secure the best terms and competitive pricing for both existing and new clients;
- Verify the accuracy of all policies and documentation, ensuring they comply with the agreed terms and conditions;
- Collaborate with Account Directors to develop coverage strategies and initiatives in preparation for renewals and business development;
- Analyze clients’ current and potential risks to determine insurance needs, then prepare and present marketing proposals for renewals and new opportunities;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the underwriting community in the best interest of clients;
- Approve documentation related to new contracts, policy changes, additions, deletions, and renewals;
- Lead by example by promoting and sharing best practices across all areas of the business.

You’ll be supported by strong operations, brokerage coordination, and client service teams, allowing you to focus on strategy, negotiation, and market relationships.
Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of broking or related experience;
- French / English bilingualism required due to frequent interactions with clients, colleagues, or partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and/or internationally.
- Client focused and proven relationship building skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision;
- Meticulous attention to detail, refined interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task;
- Proven track record to prioritize competing requirements and deadlines under pressure;
- Must have strong digital literacy and be proficient with the Microsoft Office Package;
