Overview Languages English Education Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience Experience 5 years or more On site Work must be completed at the physical location. Work setting Custom cabinet shop Millwork shop Responsibilities Tasks Operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, to cut, shape and form parts and components Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces, using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files.
Instruct apprentices Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made Operate CADD and other computer software systems Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit and reinforce joints Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer,
