Main responsibility :
Reporting to the Director, Integrated Operations, the Lead, Integrated Operations Program Management is responsible for developing and implementing several strategic and transformational initiatives for the Windfall Project, currently in the pre-construction phase. The role ensures operational alignment across organizational structures, business processes, people, culture and the integrated operating model. The role is based at the Montreal project office during the design and planning phase, with occasional travel to the Windfall site (northern Québec). 3-year fixed-term contract.
Duties and responsibilities :
- Design initiatives aligned with the integrated operations vision, modern mining practices and operational efficiency objectives.
- Design,
coordinate and support the digital and enterprise transformation program.
- Develop business plans, studies and analyses, and provide recommendations related to Gold Fields’ operational strategy.
- Define and develop strategic programs such as ConnectedWorker, Mine-to-Mill, Operate-for-Reliability, Maintain-for-Reliability and business continuity initiatives.
- Develop management functions and business frameworks in collaboration with partners, stakeholders and suppliers.
- Manage and support a multidisciplinary team in project and program management.
- Work with international experts to adopt best practices used across Gold Fields.
- Collaborate with the global asset optimization team to support the adoption of continuous improvement best practices.
- Work closely with operations, maintenance, technology, operational readiness and administrative functions.
- Engage with consultants, original equipment manufacturers and suppliers.

Required qualifications :
- University degree in a relevant field; a Master of Business Administration is a strong asset.
- More than 15 years of experience in the mining industry, business administration and/or project management.
- Significant experience in change management, continuous improvement and process definition.
- Strong strategic planning capabilities.
- Experience in people management, conflict resolution and administration.
- Bilingual French and English required (written and spoken), given coordination with international teams
