About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to join our Demand Management team. In this role, you will serve as a specialist in developing API and event-driven solutions that support our organisation's digital transformation initiatives.

Your expertise in distributed architectures, API integration, and DevOps practices will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and reliable solutions that meet evolving business needs. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our systems. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development. Proven expertise with AWS cloud services, Python programming, REST API development, and Kafka messaging systems is essential.





Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is required. Candidates should have a strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines, utilizing tools like GitHub, ArgoCD, Snyk, and Terraform.

Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or RDS is also necessary. Additionally, knowledge of monitoring and tracking tools including Jira, Datadog, Splunk, and OKTA will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

- Develop reliable and scalable API and event solutions to address business requirements, ensuring high performance and availability.
- Design, implement, and deploy robust solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Integrate APIs effectively to interface with internal systems such as FSO ServiceNow and other enterprise services.
- Manage and publish event streams that track client requests and system changes, ensuring accurate flow and processing of information.
- Adhere to development best practices, organizational standards, and ensure the quality of code through rigorous testing and documentation.
- Provide ongoing support for the implementation and operational phases of solutions,



contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and stay updated on emerging technologies relevant to the role.
