We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Assistant Director to lead and support our early childhood education programs. Duties
- Assist the Director in managing classroom activities and daily routines to promote a positive learning environment
- Support teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate curricula that meet early childhood education standards
- Supervise staff to ensure high-quality caregiving and teaching practices, including classroom experience and individualized attention
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, needs, and developmental milestones
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health & safety protocols for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities
- Coordinate staff schedules,
training sessions, and ongoing professional development opportunities
- Lead efforts to create inclusive activities that support children’s social-emotional growth and developmental goals
Qualifications
- Proven classroom experience in early childhood education or related settings
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs to support inclusive learning environments
- Strong background in teaching foundational skills across early childhood development domains
- Demonstrated caregiving skills combined with leadership abilities to guide staff effectively
- Knowledge of licensing requirements, health & safety standards, and best practices in early childhood programs
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude
