Champion child and family welfare initiatives as the Child Welfare Services Director in a leading organization. Your strategic oversight will drive compliance and community support. In this key position reporting to the Executive Director, you will lead the family services program with a focus on legislative standards and operational excellence.
With your background in social work, you will provide guidance to Supervisors while fostering a culturally informed approach to service delivery and outcomes. Regular travel to remote communities may be required. Key Responsibilities:
- Offer leadership and support to supervisory staff
- Oversee compliance with child welfare laws and standards
- Approve essential case management documents
- Engage in quality assurance audits and initiatives
- Cultivate relationships with community partners and agencies Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master of Social Work (BSW/MSW)
- Minimum of five years in child welfare with leadership roles
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices
- Solid communication and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with Indigenous cultures of northern Manitoba Lead impactful change within the child welfare system, ensuring safety and well-being for families and children.
