Explore It! (www.ExploreItAll.ca) is looking for Toronto based Instructors to assist us in providing after-school programming to young children in elementary schools in downtown Toronto for the upcoming school year. We provide a range of support, resources and supplies that allow you to focus on having fun with our students in hands-on and engaging classes. Please note this is a part time position during the school year with no possibility of full time work. Our schools are located in downtown Toronto - south of Eglinton, north of Bloor, east of Spadina and west of Mt. Pleasant .
- You MUST have relevant experience working with groups of young children between the ages of 5 and 12. You SHOULD have a child focused background of mentoring, teaching, coaching and/or as a camp counsellor.
- Candidates for Instructor positions MUST be available to teach classes on weekdays after-school (i.e. 3:00 to 4:30pm) during the school year on a term by term basis.
- You MUST be available on at least two weekdays (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) after-school. Successful applicants will be offered the opportunity to work with us based on their availability and relevant experiance.
- You MUST be at least 19 years old and have graduated from an accredided High School. Successful candidates are typlically enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Canadian post-secondary school.
- New Instructors have the opportunity to be mentored by our current team in a variety of enjoyable subject areas such as Science & Exploration, Culinary Arts, Visual Arts, Crafts, Dance, Movement & Yoga, Performing Arts, Lego Building and more.
- The Toronto elementary schools we partner with are TTC accessible. You must be able to travel to schools within the downtown City of Toronto. There is no compensation for travel.
- This is NOT a tutoring job.
- You will need obtain a clear Police Vulnerable Sectors Screening. Ideally from the Toronto Police Services. We are able to assist you in this process.

Responsibilities
- Engage and interact with children in a positive and supportive manner during after-school programs. Most classes are one hour in length.
- Plan and implement fun educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
- Ensure adherence to safety and company standards throughout the program.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.50-$26.50 per hour
