Summary

The Driver-AZ is responsible for completing daily local deliveries of natural stone by following CVOR regulations and safe driving protocol at all times.

Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM, 2 Saturday(s) a month from 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM.

Compensation

This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $30 to $32 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $54,600 and $71,600 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for delivering granite, marble and quartz slabs.
- Performing local deliveries with multiple stops, and interacting with customers.
- In charge of maintaining a legal and accurate log book.
- Follow safety procedures in all aspects of the job.
- Responsible for reading the Bill of Lading and picking sheets.
- In charge of positioning the blocks and ties, straps, chains and binders for cargo securement.
- Able to assist in loading, unloading, and securing of cargo.
- Generate 137lbs of vertical push/pull force.
- Able to lift and transfer 65lbs.
- Able to carry at least 30lbs the length of the truck bed.
- Able to ascend and descend multiple-rung ladder.
- Able to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch.
- Able to work at elevated height of 72” above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipment.




- Able to work at lowered height of 6” above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipment.
- Perform various warehouse duties as needed.
- Perform additional duties as required and or requested.

Requirements

- High School Education preferred.
- One (1) year of verifiable driving experience.
- 1 year of verifiable driving experience with heavy duty vehicles.
- Must be able to pass a skilled test (driving test).
- Must be able to pass CVOR pre-employment requirements.
- Bilingual plus, but not necessary.
- Must possess a Valid Class AZ CDL.
- Driver abstract and CVOR report required.

Physical Demands

- Able to carry at least 30lbs the length of the truck bed.
- Able to ascend and descend multiple-rung ladder.
- Able to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch.
