Childcare Classroom Assistant

Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available

$18.00 – $20.00 per hour

We are seeking a warm, reliable, and team-oriented Classroom Assistant to support our childcare program. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, assisting teachers, and contributing to a positive and nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities:

- Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines
- Support the supervision and safety of children at all times
- Help implement age-appropriate activities, play, and learning experiences
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom workplace
- Assist with meals, snacks, and transitions throughout the day
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members




- Follow all licensing regulations and center policies

Qualifications:

- Genuine passion for working with young children
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible
- Strong communication skills
- Must meet Washington State childcare licensing requirements (or be willing to obtain)
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
