In this commercial-focused position, you will drive CURAs carbon value chain from securing transport options to monetizing environmental attribute credits. Collaborate with engineering teams and report to leadership to ensure CURAs decarbonized cement is compliant with evolving regulations in Canada and Europe. Bring your expertise to capitalize on the full climate value of captured CO2.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify CO2 transport and storage pathways for CURAs projects
• Lead negotiations with CO2 storage providers and transport operators
• Develop cost models to inform project site selection
• Manage carbon registry compliance, including MRV requirements
• Support sales efforts for cement environmental attribute credits
Requirements:
• 5+ years in carbon markets or CCUS sectors
• Technical fluency in carbon capture and storage
• Experience in negotiating commercial agreements
• Familiarity with carbon regulatory landscapes
• Bachelors degree in engineering, science, or related field
