The Edmonton Youth Attendance

Centre is actively hiring motivated Correctional Peace Officers to engage with youth aged 12-17. This wage position emphasizes community-based work, offering opportunities to build relationships while promoting positive behavior and safety. You will work with young individuals in a dynamic workplace that prioritizes their development through education and recreational programming. Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise youth involved in court-ordered community programs
- Conduct community curfew checks and compliance evaluations




- Support youth during community work service placements
- Facilitate educational and recreational programming
- Collaborate with probation officers and community partners Requirements:
- High school diploma and two years of related experience
- Valid unrestricted Class 5 Canadian Driver’s License
- Current Criminal Record Check with Fingerprinting
- Vulnerable Sector Check issued within the last six months
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level-C Certification Utilize your skills to mentor and support youth, contributing to community safety and personal growth.
