Senior Social is looking for compassionate, reliable, and personable Companion Caregivers to join our growing team and help seniors enjoy greater connection, independence, and quality of life.

This is an opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with older adults and understands that sometimes the greatest support is simply having someone there.

As a Companion Caregiver, you may:

- Provide friendly companionship and meaningful conversation
- Accompany clients on walks, errands, appointments, or community outings
- Assist with light meal preparation and everyday household tasks
- Play games, read, participate in hobbies, or enjoy activities together
- Help clients stay socially active and connected to their community
- Provide transportation when applicable
- Offer a reassuring and dependable presence for clients and their families
- Maintain a respectful, safe, and welcoming environment. We’re Looking For Someone Who Is
- Compassionate, patient, and genuinely caring
- Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
- Comfortable communicating with seniors and their families
- Positive, friendly, and a good listener
- Respectful of each client's independence, dignity,



and preferences
- Able to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries
- Experienced working with seniors, caregiving, PSW services, or companionship is an asset

Requirements

- Previous caregiving, companionship, PSW, senior services, or related experience preferred
- Vulnerable Sector Check required
- Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation an asset
- Ability to provide professional references
