Lead compliance and inspection initiatives with Service Nova Scotia as an Inspector Specialist 4 based in Dartmouth. As an Inspector Specialist 4, you will oversee complex compliance and inspection programs within the Alcohol, Gaming, Fuel and Tobacco Division.
Your role includes developing and monitoring compliance guidelines, as well as working with a team of inspectors to enforce policies. Your insights will play a critical role in shaping operational plans and ensuring alignment with best practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Set and monitor compliance requirements across programs
- Develop policies that reflect operational needs
- Evaluate standard operating procedures for consistency
- Act as an expert resource for inspectors statewide
- Support training programs for officers and investigators Requirements:
- 8 years of related experience post-training
- Knowledge of legal processes and policy development
- Experience in quality management systems
- Robust analytical skills for reporting
