Role Description Southwest is looking for a variety of full-time, in office roles based in the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area. These include skilled labourers, cpncrete demolition, pipe layers, gradesmen and foreman.

The worker will assist with civil construction activities, including site preparation, material handling, and installation of utilities and structural elements. Daily tasks include concrete removal, mixing and placing concrete, performing basic masonry work, cutting/beveling pipe,



compacting aggregates and supporting road building and environmental civil works. The role involves following site safety procedures, reading basic construction plans or instructions, collaborating with site supervisors and crew members, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

- Solid construction skills, including experience with general Construction or Renovation work.
- Familiarity with excavation, shoring, and civil construction environments is an asset.
- Knowledge of construction tools and equipment, with the ability to follow operating and safety instructions.
- Commitment to health and safety standards, including use of personal protective equipment.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and working in outdoor conditions.
- Reliable transportation to job sites in the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area.
- Previous experience in construction or related trades is preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., WHMIS, first aid, fall protection) are an asset.
