Site Superintendent (6 Months Contract Position) Location: Edmonton, AB
Job Type: Full time Contract

Qualifications Required Experience & Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar commercial construction role.
Strong Understanding Of Commercial Construction Practices, Including Concrete
Structural steel
Roofing
Plumbing
HVAC
Electrical systems
Interior and exterior finishing
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and internal project teams.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accurate project documentation.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Basic computer proficiency for reporting, scheduling, and project documentation.
Position Overview The Site Superintendent will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of construction activities on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications and schedules.
Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate multiple subcontractors and site personnel throughout all phases of construction.
Oversee daily site operations while maintaining productivity, quality,
and safety standards.
Conduct and coordinate safety orientations, toolbox meetings, inspections, and related documentation.
Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and project team to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved or exceeded.
Monitor project progress and proactively resolve site issues to minimize delays.
Ensure work complies with contract documents, building codes, and quality standards.
Coordinate inspections, deficiencies, commissioning activities, and project turnover.
Maintain organized site records, reports, and daily logs.
Foster positive working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and stakeholders.
