Travel: Flight from airport closest to point of hire to Thunder Bay - Chartered flight to site

Pre-employment requirement: Drug and Alcohol Testing Scope of work: Complete the underground construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of the 1470mL Pump Station and associated dewatering infrastructure at
Musselwhite Mine as part of the PQD Expansion 1 project. The work includes installation of two cone sumps with ground support and shotcrete, structural steel cones and access platforms, sump covers and monorails, dewatering pump skids, sludge sump infrastructure, piping and pipe supports, and associated civil/structural works. The scope also includes power distribution, electrical, instrumentation, automation and communications systems, borehole cable installations, and dewatering piping from the 1080mL borehole to the 1045mL water reservoir.
Duration approximately 6 to 8 months Construction Supervisor: The primary role of the Construction Supervisor is to plan, organize and control activities of a construction group, to ensure the project is completed in accordance to company standards and safety practices; to liaise with technical personnel and to update the site management on activities, progress and challenges; to suggest methods and procedures to minimize project cost to ensure the work meets design specifications according to client requirements. Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Lead-Construction Miner Knowledge Required Must understand underground work setting Must understand responsibilities of leadership Ability to multitask and work effectively Ability to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently Able to work in team environment,
and lead by example Willing to mentor others Willing to be trained in other aspects of trade Ability to read civil prints Basic understanding of Mine Regulations pertaining to task Ability to conduct risk assessment of specific task Understanding of work-related procedures and standards Ability to recognize and resolve problems as required Respectful of cultural differences Salary Range: $145,000 - $195,000/annum, range is variable and dependent on overtime worked and production bonus paid Construction Leader: Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor and/or the Underground
Superintendent, the primary role of the Construction Leader is to perform construction mining tasks and is able to complete them efficiently with little to no supervision and will guide the less experienced construction miners. The role of a Construction Lead Miner includes a wide variety of work such as forming, concrete work, vent doors, man doors, vent walls, sump installations,
pipe installation, ventilation and fan installations and many more challenger. Minimum 3 years construction mining experience (required) Salary Range: $140,000 - $190,000/annum, range is variable and dependent on overtime worked and production bonus paid Knowledge Required Demonstrated ability to read mine plans and specifications for underground mining.
Ability to multitask and work effectively Ability to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently Respectful of cultural differences Expe Salary Range: $128,000 - $178,000/annum, range is variable and dependent on overtime worked and production bonus paid Construction Miner: The primary role of the Construction Miner (Development) is to perform such work as shotcreeting, building refuge stations, crusher stations, muck bins, conveyor installation, timber and concrete work, sump installations, the installation of vent tubing (air,
water and pumping lines), other construction work and maintenance jobs as required. 2 years’ experience in a related construction role Knowledge Required Ability to multitask and work effectively Ability to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently Basic Knowledge of the mining industry Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in a team environment Ability to read, review and understand Standard Work Procedures, safety programs and applicable mine regulations Basic understanding and ability to read civil prints and or construction prints Must have the ability to adapt to change * Respectful of cultural differences Salary Range: $118,000 - $168,000/annum, range is variable and dependent on overtime worked and production bonus paid In 1962, Jim Redpath’s vision for the company was much the same as it is today;
