Posted: July 21, 2026 / Duties Your Role as a Consumer Proposal Administrator: David Sklar & Associates Inc. is looking for a Consumer Proposal Administrator to support the ongoing administration of consumer proposal files. This role is ideal for someone who understands the consumer proposal process, communicates clearly with clients and creditors, and enjoys working in a structured, detail-oriented environment. In this role, you will handle client and creditor inquiries, assist with payment and arrears questions, support proof of claim activity, maintain accurate file records in Ascend, and help identify issues that need trustee or senior review.

You will work closely with Licensed Insolvency Trustees, the Proposal Team, POC team, Counselling, E-Filing and other internal departments.

Responsibilities - Respond to client and creditor calls and emails in a qualified and practical manner.

- Explain payment schedules, outstanding balances, arrears and file status using verified information.
- Maintain accurate records, notes and updates in Ascend and related systems.
- Assist creditors with proof of claim questions and route issues for review when needed.
- Field debtor concerns related to collection activity, stay of proceedings, banking issues and payment problems.
- Support initial intake of requests to amend a consumer proposal and elevate legitimate or complex matters.
- Work with internal teams to support accurate, timely and compliant proposal administration.

Qualifications / Required Skills - 1 to 2 years of experience in consumer proposals, insolvency administration, creditor services,



legal administration, financial services administration or a related field.

- General understanding of consumer proposal administration and related debtor and creditor communication.
- Ability to explain legal, technical and practical file information clearly and professionally.
- Knowledge of Ascend is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, confidentiality and client service skills.
- Comfort working with Ascend, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word and PDF documents.

The Work location: This role works out of DSAI’s head office located at 245 Fairview Mall Dr, Suite 720, North York.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Canadian work experience is not required. Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Salary: Compensation: CAD $58,000-$66,000 per year, plus benefits.
