Wild Roots Restaurant is looking for a Cook to join our kitchen team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys preparing good food, and works well in a busy team environment.

We are looking for both part-time and full-time applicants, with day and evening shifts availabl.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to Wild Roots standards Complete daily food preparation and kitchen prep Maintain consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation Work efficiently during busy service periods Keep your station clean, organized, and sanitary Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Assist with opening and closing duties Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

Qualifications




- Previous cooking or kitchen experience is an asset Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant workplace Reliable, punctual, and dependable Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and take direction
