Cormorant Island Community Health Centre is looking for a Registered Nurse in Alert Bay, BC, to provide outstanding nursing care with a focus on emergency response. Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to support client safety.
This role requires registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives and a minimum of two years' experience. You will be critical in administering direct patient care, overseeing staff activities, and confidently responding to urgent care needs within nursing practice standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct nursing care to patients efficiently
• Coordinate efforts with multidisciplinary team members
• Guide volunteers and nursing staff in care delivery
• Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
• Record detailed patient care and treatment plans
Requirements:
• RN registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• Two years of nursing experience or an equivalent combination
• Basic Life Support certification, Level C required
• Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified
• Valid BC Drivers License
