Senior Consultant – Procurement & Purchasing Optimization (7-months contract)

Our client, a leading organization located in Toronto, is currently looking for a Bilingual Procurement Officer for a temporary assignment.

Pay rate: $65 per hour

Hybrid work model

Contract duration: September 2026 to March 2027

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Modernizing, optimizing, and streamlining the procurement and purchasing functions.
- Ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and public sector best practices.
- Reviewing, developing, and analyzing internal controls, purchasing policies, and procurement procedures.
- Working closely with legal counsel regarding contract negotiations, procurement workflows, and risk management.

The ideal candidate must have:

- Fluently bilingual in both French and English
- 10 years of experience in a similar role
- Professional Designation: Recognized certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., SCMP, CPSM, or equivalent).
- Public Sector Experience: Extensive procurement background within the Ontario public or broader public sector, including strong familiarity with public tendering processes.




- Industry Asset: Prior experience working within Ontario's higher education sector (universities or colleges) is a significant advantage.
