About the Role

As a Customer Experience Representative working for Cougars Athletics and Recreation at Mount Royal University, reporting to the Customer Experience Coordinator, you will play a key role in our dynamic programs and services team. This is a flexible position whose work schedule is variable and may include an irregular schedule of not less than three (3) hours per shift and up to thirty-five (35) hours per week.

Responsibilities

- Customer Assistance: Provide exceptional service to customers both in-person and over the phone, including support with account creation, program registration, membership purchases, day pass sales, locker memberships, and POS transactions using our recreation management software (ActiveNet).
- Daily operations such as cleaning and laundry, locker and facility checks.
- Equipment Lending: Manage and facilitate the lending of equipment to customers as needed.
- Check-In Support:



This position assists students, employees, members, and rental groups with check-in procedures and provides guidance to relevant areas and services on campus.
- First-Aid Response: Respond to and assist with various first-aid incidents, ensuring a secure environment for all patrons.
- Facility Tours: Conduct engaging and informative tours of the Recreation Centre upon request.
- Facility Setup: Assist with setting up the facility for programs and rental groups, ensuring that equipment is properly arranged and the area is clean and prepared for use.

Qualifications

- Minimum High School diploma, plus additional course work.
- 6 - 12 months of related experience.
- Available to work at least one weekly shift, including mornings, evenings and weekends.
- Required Certification: Current Intermediate (Standard) First Aid & CPR-C Certification.

Salary: $15.45 - $19.44 per hour
