This role focuses on distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, platform reliability,



and the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices that improve developer productivity and product quality. You will work across multiple teams to shape technical direction, modernize systems, reduce technical debt, and deliver scalable, reliable software platforms.Roles & ResponsibilitiesLead the design and evolution of large-scale distributed systems and platform architecturesDefine technical direction across teams for scalability, reliability, maintainability, and operational excellenceDrive adoption of AI-assisted development practices that improve engineering velocity, code quality, and delivery outcomesPartner with Product and Engineering leadership to shape technical priorities, roadmap decisions, and platform modernization effortsLead architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and technical planning across multiple teamsImprove observability, monitoring, incident response, and reliability practices across production systemsIdentify systemic technical issues, reduce technical debt, and guide re-platforming or modernization initiativesMentor engineers and technical leads through architectural guidance, technical feedback,



and engineering best practicesRequired Qualifications8+ years of software engineering experience building production applications or platform servicesExperience leading technical design or architecture decisions across multiple teams or servicesExperience designing and operating distributed systems in cloud environments using AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience building full-stack applications, APIs, or platform services using Rust, C#, JavaScript, or similar technologiesExperience supporting production systems, including observability, incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvementsPreferred QualificationsExperience with authentication and authorization technologies such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, or SAMLExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and KubernetesExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or BicepExperience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and progressive deployment strategiesExperience with relational and non-relational data stores and related architecture trade-offsExperience leading secure coding, threat modeling, or vulnerability remediation initiativesExperience introducing AI-assisted development tools or workflows across engineering teamsAdditional InformationKaseya provides equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants without regard to race, religion, age, ancestry, gender, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, veteran status, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
